CONDITIONS: The competition is open to athletes who are members in good standing with
their provincial or territorial association. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada and the Badminton World Federation.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Registration 3:00PM
Friday 3:00 PM Singles and Mixed
Saturday – 9:00 AM
Sunday – 9:00 AM semi-finals/finals
EVENTS: Events will be held in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first round match of the main event. It will be
the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30-minutes of their
opening round defeat.
SHUTTLES: The official shuttle will be the Yonex AS 40 feather shuttle. Shuttles will be provided for all matches.
ENTRY FEE: $90.00 includes shuttles, souvenir. Online payment is required at the time of online registration
ENTRY DEADLINE: Entry deadline is December 21st, 2012 at 11:59 PST.
Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Badminton Tournament Planner Software. Participants
must enter direcly online.
No late entries will be accepted. No changes after entry deadline.
PRIZES: $6,000 minimum prize purse
Medals will be awarded to the winners and finalists of each main round event. Merchandise
for consolation winners.
SEEDING: For the 'open' event as provided by Badminton Canada tournament seeding committee.
RULES: The 21-Rally Point scoring format will be utilized. 3 minute warm-up and 10 minute
default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play.
CLOTHING: BWF and Badminton Canada clothing regulations will apply.
