Conditions: The competition is open to all athletes who are members in good standing with their provincial or territorial association. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada and the Badminton world Federation.

Registration: Friday 10:00am

Schedule:
Friday: Opening Rounds 12.00pm
Saturday: Continuation of play 9.00am
Sunday: Finals 10.00am

Events: Open events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first round match of the main event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30 minutes of their opening round defeat.
Consolation rounds offered, time permitted.

Shuttles: Official shuttle will be YONEX AS 20 feather shuttle. Shuttles will be provided for each matches.

Entry Fee: Open event - $115 (includes shuttles). Online payment is required at the time of registration.

Entry Deadline: The entry deadline is Friday October 10, 2014 at 11:59 pm EST.
Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Badminton Tournament Planner Software, allowing athletes to enter online at http://badmintoncanada.tournamentsftware.com
Unpaid entries will not be included in the draws. Late entries will not be accepted. Entries received via mail, fax, or regular mail will not be accepted.

Prizes: $6000 minimum prize purse. Prize money will be paid to the top 3 placing in each open event. A detailed prize ourse breakdown will be provided on site. 

Seeding: For the open event as provided by Badminton Canada tournament seeding committee.

Rules: The 21 rally point scoring format will be utilized. Three minute warm up and the ten minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is stringly recommended during play.

Clothing: Colored clothing permitted.
