Unpaid entries will not be included in the draws. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Requests for extenuating circumstances will only be accepted via the Provincial Organization of the player and such requests are not guaranteed to proceed.
Any request for extenuating circumstances will be subject to a additional $50 registration fee.

EVENTS:
Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for U15, U17 and U19 age categories. Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Tournament Software online registration system.
Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first-round match of the main event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30 minutes of their opening round defeat. Consolation rounds offered time permitting.
ÉPREUVES:
Les épreuves en simple, double et double mixte pour les catégories U15, U17 et U19. Badminton Canada utilisera le système d'inscription en ligne du logiciel de tournoi.
Consolations seront organisées pour tous les participants vaincus dans leur match de la première ronde de l'événement principal. Ce sera la responsabilité de chaque athlète d'informer le bureau de tirage, dans les 30 minutes de leur ouverture défaite ronde. Rondes de consolation offertes selon si le temps le permet.
REFUNDS/WITHDRAW PENALTY:
Refunds are provided to participants, less a 25% administration fee, who withdraw prior to the entry deadline of the competition. After the entry deadline, but before the draws are made, refunds are provided less a 50% administration fee. Refunds will not be provided for withdrawals after the draws have been made.
For athletes who chose to withdraw from an event after the registration deadline (September 29th 2017) will be withdrawn from all events the athlete has registered to participate in.
REMBOURSEMENT/RETIRENT LA PÉNALITÉ:
Les remboursements sont fournis aux participants, moins les frais d'administration de 25%, qui se retirent avant la date limite d'inscription à la compétition. Après la date limite d'inscription, mais avant les tirages sont faits, les remboursements sont prévus les frais d'administration de 50%. Les remboursements ne seront pas fournis pour les retraits après les tirages ont été effectués.
Pour les athlètes qui ont choisi de se retirer d'un événement après la date limite d'inscription (29 septembre 2017) seront retirés de tous les événements auxquels l'athlète s'est inscrit.

TOUNAMENT RULES:
The 21-Rally Point scoring format will be utilized. Three-minute warm-up and ten-minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play (not mandatory).

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Badminton Canada will be following the 2018 BWF Calendar year for the entire 2017-18 season. Competition is open to athletes born 2004 or later (U15), 2002 or later (U17),2000 or later (U19). All participants in Junior Elite Series tournaments must be registered members of BCan or a Member Association of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and provide their member ID upon online registration.
The registration fee to become a member of Badminton Canada will be an annual fee (Sept 1st-August 31st) and you must be a registered member in good standing with a BCan provincial membership organization in order to be a registered member of BCan.
*Non-Canadian association participants will be charged an extra $25 fee for entering a tournament.
The maximum number of entrants is 150. Should the maximum entry be exceeded, priority will be given to players/teams ranked in the top 10 in each event on the Canadian National ranking list. After the top 10 ranked players/teams in each event, priority will be given to players based on their date of entry onto the tournament. Doubles and Mixed teams will be considered based on the latest entry date of the two partners.
CONDITIONS DE PARTICIPATION
La compétition est ouverte pour les athlètes nés le 2004 et après (U15), 2002 et après (U17) et le 13 mars, 2000 et après (U19). Tous les participants dans les tournois de la série Elite doivent être membres de Badminton Canada ou une association membre de la Fédération mondiale de badminton (BWF) et donner leur ID de membre au moment de s’enregistrer en ligne.
Les frais d’enregistrement pour devenir membre de Badminton Canada sont les frais annuels (du 1er septembre au 31 août) et vous devez être un membre inscrit et en règle avec une organisation provinciale de Badminton Canada afin d'être un membre inscrit de Badminton Canada.
*Les participants d’une association « non canadienne » seront facturés une frais supplémentaire de 25$ pour entrer dans le tournoi.
Le nombre maximum de participants est de 150. Si l'entrée maximale est dépassée, la priorité sera donnée aux joueurs / équipes classées dans le top 10 dans chaque événement sur la liste nationale canadienne de classement. Après les 10 premiers joueurs / équipes classés dans chaque cas, la priorité sera donnée aux joueurs en fonction de leur date d'entrée sur le tournoi. Les équipes Doubles et mixtes seront considérées en fonction de la dernière entrée des deux partenaires

COACH CERTIFICATION:

This is the second event for the 2017-18 season, ALL COACHES MUST REGISTER FOR THE 2017-18 SEASON.
