Alberta athletes must now qualify for Junior Provincials & Junior Nationals

Effective 01 September 2014 - Alberta athletes will now have to compete in at least one Alberta Junior Circuit tournament in order to qualify for particiaption in the Alberta Junior Provincial Championships. Furthermore for an Alberta athletes to be eligible for participation in the Canadian Junior National Championships, they must compete in the Alberta Junior Elite (national circuit event) and the Alberta Junior Provincial Championships. 

Exemption - The intent of an exemption clause is to give consideration to players who miss onem but not both of the qualification tournaments (Alberta Junior Elite or Alberta Junior Provincials) due to injury or for humanitarian reasons (eg. Family emergency).

Any player seeking an exemption from the above criteria must submit their application in writing to the Board of Directors, whose decsion shall be final.
