Badminton Alberta would like to invite all competitive badminton players between the ages of 13-19 years to attend our annual high performance badminton training camp in Olds from July 7-12, 2013. Olds is located 45 minutes north of Calgary or 30 minutes south of Red Deer on the QE2 Highway.
We are pleased to announce that we have confirmed Mr. Billy Gilliland, as our head coach. The campers will reside and take their meals in the Frank Grisdale Hall of Olds College, while the on-court sessions will take place in the Ralph Klein Centre, Olds Community Learning Centre.
The camp will also incorporate numerous off-court educational sessions in areas such as fitness and conditioning, sport psychology, goal setting, sport nutrition, etc.
The following is a list of particulars for the camp.
Dates: July 7-12 inclusive (Sunday – Friday)
Check-in: Sunday, July 7 between 4:00-6:00pm
Check-out: Friday, July 12 at 4:00pm
Camp Times: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, with 5 hours on-court instruction daily
Cost: $735.00 + GST (Includes room & board and camp souvenir)
