Conditions of Participation The competition is open to athletes born in 1998 or later (U16), or 1995 or later (U19). All participants in Elite Series tournaments must be registered members of BCan or a Member Association of the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The registration fee to become a member of Badminton Canada Champions Club will be an annual fee (January 1st – December 31st ) and you must be a registered member in good standing with a BCan provincial membership organization in order to be a registered member of BCan, players must provide their provincial member ID upon registration (contact your provincial organization if you are uncertain of your ID number). Non-Canadian association participants will be charged an extra $20 fee for entering a tournament.

Consolation Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first round match of the main event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30-minutes of their opening round defeat.

Eyewear Players are encouraged to wear protective eyewear meeting the ASTM F803 standard.
