Badminton Alberta Residential High Performance Camp
Dates: July 8-12, 2014
Location: Olds College, 4500 - 50 Street, OLds
- Residence - Frank Grisdale Hall
- Training venue - Ralph Klein Centre, modern air conditioned facility able to accommodate 11 badminton courts, fitness centre and indoor pool.
This camp will meet the needs of competitive athletes and will consist of skills practice, strategy, badminton conditioning, and match play. The camp is suitable for national and provincial level competitors and also for the competitive schools athlete.
Fee includes: Meals and accommodation in the Olds College residence are included in the cost for the camp.
Cost: $775.00 + GST
Camp check in: Monday, July 7 between 6-8pm
Camp check out: Saturday, July 12 at 4pm
In addition to badminton equipment, athletes are required to bring sleeping bags, pillows, swim suit, running shoes, notebooks and towels.
Residence: Athletes will stay two athletes per room with shared washroom facilities common to the floor.
Food services: Athletes and coaches will take all meals within the Olds College cafeteria. Food allergies can be accomodated if notified in advance.
Coaching Staff: NCCP qualified coaching staff including a female chaperone will be on-site throughout the camp.
