Badminton Alberta is pleased to announce the Alberta team that has qualified for the 2012 Western Canadian Team Championships. The WCTC are being held at The Winnipeg Winter Club, Winnipeg, Manitoba from January 13-15, 2012.
Under 16 - Ty Lindeman, Austin Bauer, Ryan Lam, Sarah Beattie, Kyleigh O'Donoghue & Valerie Cheung.
Under 14 - Bryon Holcek, Kevin Lee, Nicolas Pittman, Erin O'Donoghue, Monica Cowper & Eyota Kwan.
Takeisha and Desmond Wang qualified for the team but are unavailable to attend the event and have been replaced by alternates.
The athletes qualified based on their participation and results at the Derrick Junior Open and Glencoe Junior Open.
Team Alberta coaches will be Greg Bury of Calgary.
