ENTRY FEE
The entry fee of $115 per player must be made online. There will be an additional $25 fee for Non Canadian association participants.
INSCRIPTION
Les frais d’inscription de 115$ par participant doivent être payés en ligne. Il y aura un supplément de 25 $ pour les participants d’une association non canadienne.

Unpaid entries will not be included in the draws. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Requests for extenuating circumstances will only be accepted via the Provincial Organization of the player and such requests are not guaranteed to proceed.

EVENTS:
Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for U15, U17 and U19 age categories. Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Tournament Software online registration system.
Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first round match of the main event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30-minutes of their opening round defeat.
Consolation rounds offered time permitting.
EPREUVES:
Les épreuves en simple, double et double mixte pour les catégories U15, U17 et U19. Badminton Canada utilisera le système d'inscription en ligne du logiciel de tournoi.
Consolations seront organisées pour tous les participants vaincus dans leur match de la première ronde de l'événement principal. Ce sera la responsabilité de chaque athlète d'informer le bureau de tirage, dans les 30 minutes suivant la défaite en 1ère ronde
Rondes de consolation offertes si le temps le permet.
TOURNAMENT RULES:
The 21-Rally Point scoring format will be utilized.
Three-minute warm-up and ten minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play.

Format de notation de Point 21-rallye. Trois minutes d'échauffement et de dix minutes par défaut est strictement appliqué. L'utilisation de lunettes de protection est recommandée pendant le jeu.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Competition is open to athletes born in 2002 or later (U15), 2000 or later (U17), 1998 or later (U19). All participants in Elite Series tournaments must be registered members of BCan or a Member Association of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and provide their member ID upon online registration. The registration fee to become a member of Badminton Canada will be an annual fee (Sept 1st-August 31st) and you must be a registered member in good standing with a BCan provincial membership organization in order to be a registered member of BCan.
*Non-Canadian association participants will be charged an extra $25 fee for entering a tournament.
The maximum number of entrants is 150. Should the maximum entry be exceeded, priority will be given to players/teams ranked in the top 10 in each event on the Canadian National ranking list. After the top 10 ranked players/teams in each event, priority will be given to players based on their date of entry onto the tournament. Doubles and Mixed teams will be considered based on the latest entry date of the two partners.
CONDITIONS DE PARTICIPATION
La compétition est ouverte pour les athlètes nés 2002 et après (U15), 2000 et après (U17) et 1998 et après (U19). Tous les participants dans les tournois de la série Elite doivent être membres de Badminton Canada ou une association membre de la Fédération mondiale de badminton (BWF) et donner leur ID de membre au moment de s’enregistrer en ligne. Les frais d’enregistrement pour devenir membre de Badminton Canada sont les frais annuels (du 1er septembre au 31 août) et vous devez être un membre inscrit et en règle avec une organisation provinciale de Badminton Canada afin d'être un membre inscrit de Badminton Canada.
*Les participants d’une association « non canadienne » seront facturés une frais supplémentaire de 25$ pour entrer dans le tournoi.
Le nombre maximum de participants est de 150. Si l'entrée maximale est dépassée, la priorité sera donnée aux joueurs / équipes classées dans le top 10 dans chaque événement sur la liste nationale canadienne de classement. Après les 10 premiers joueurs / équipes classés dans chaque cas, la priorité sera donnée aux joueurs en fonction de leur date d'entrée sur le tournoi. Les équipes Doubles et mixtes seront considérées en fonction de la dernière entrée des deux partenaires.
REFUNDS
Refunds are provided to participants, less a 25% administration fee, who withdraw prior to the entry deadline of the competition. After the entry deadline, but before the draws are made, refunds are provided les a 50% administration fee. Refunds will not be provided for withdrawals after the draws have been made.
REMBOURSEMENT
Les remboursements sont fournis aux participants, moins les frais d'administration de 25%, qui se retirent avant la date limite d'inscription à la compétition. Après la date limite d'inscription, mais avant les tirages sont faits, les remboursements sont prévus les frais d'administration de 50%. Les remboursements ne seront pas fournis pour les retraits après les tirages ont été effectués.

ADDITIONAL HOST AND VENUE REMARKS
Parking space is limited at le Centre sportif de Gatineau. There will be 11 courts available for this tournament. The venue has been used for the Canadian Senior Championship in 2013 and 2015. Facilities are excellent for players and spectators (500 seats).
REMARQUES ADDITIONNELS DE L’HÔTE OU DE L’ENDROIT
Les places de stationnement sont limitées au Centre sportif de Gatineau. Il y aura 11 terrains disponibles pour le tournoi. Le centre sportif a été utilisé pour le Championnat canadien senior en 2013 et 2015. Les facilités sont excellentes pour les joueurs et les spectateurs (500 sièges).

WAIVER OF RIGHTS
I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all claims for damages I may have against Badminton Canada, any of it's member organizations, the host venue, and their respective agents, members of staff, for any and all injuries which may be suffered by me, through accident or negligence, in conjunction with my competition and attendance at all related activities of this event. I accept the above terms from the time of online entry until the completion of the tournament.
