One hundred of Canada's elite badminton players are in Calgary to contest the 2012 Manulife Financial Canadian Badminton Championships. The event is taking place at The Glencoe Club, beginning Wednesday at noon, concluding with finals on Saturday.

Due to unforseen circumstance, the Badminton Alberta annual general meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, Janaury 26th at 7:00pm has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 29th at 7:00pm.

The normal entry deadline (unless otherwise stated) is ten days prior to the first day of the tournament. For most events this is the Wednesday proceeding the week of the tournament.
