The four Western Provinces came together in Calgary over the weekend to contest the 2014 Western Canadian Team Championships. The WCTC consists of team competition across two age categories, Under 14 and Under 16. Each tie consisted of a best of seven matches in each age category. Teams received four matches within the five team round robin draw. The top two teams with combined u14 & u16 results qualified for the gold medal match, while the third and fourth ranked teams would play for bronze.
Final placings: 1st - Team Alberta Gold, 2nd - Team British Columbia, 3rd - Team Alberta Blue, 4th - Team Manitoba, 5th - Team Saskatchewan.
