Badminton Alberta welcomes new directors

At the Annual General Meeting held February 29 in Calgary, five new directors were appointed, joining six returning directors.
2011 financials statements were presented and accepted, and auditors were approved for the 2012 fiscal year.
Of the five new directors, four of them (Paul O'Donoghue, Mike Powell, Becky Plumer and Philip Sceviour) will join John Osborne (President) and Julainne Schmidt (Secretary) to form the new executive committee. Also joining the board of directors is Vive Kumar of Edmonton. Two directors, Dean Pery and Paul Day have decided not to let their name stand for re-election, therefore vaccancies now exist in Zones 1 & 5.
