Western Canada Summer Games
The Western Canada Summer Games involve 10 full days of high-level athletics in 18 different sports and an estimated 3,000 volunteers. The Games will feature 2,700 athletes in competition from across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
The Western Canada Games are a stepping-stone to other competitions such as the Canada Games, the Pan American Games and the Olympic Games.
Athlete eligibility for the 2011 Team Alberta badminton squad will be determined by Badminton Alberta from a selection of Alberta players born in 1995 or later.
