Summer Camps

Coaches:

Head coaches include Grace Gao and Toby Ng, who are currently ranked #1 in the Pan Am zone and 26th in the world in mixed doubles. Joining Grace and Toby will be Martin Giuffre and Geoff Prieur. Both Martin and Geoff are national junior champions, who have also represented Canada at the World Junior Championships and Commonwealth Youth Games.

Age: 11Y-17Y
Designed to provide athletes the opportunity to develop badminton skills in a fun and safe environment. According to the Long Term Athlete Development Model, participants will be divided into groups based on ability. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of badminton including grip, overhead stroke technique, movement, strategy and tactics by participating in drills and games. A $10.00 Badminton Alberta membership fee is required in addition to registration for those without a current Badminton Alberta Membership.

Cost per athlete:

$220 for Talisman Centre members

$270 for everyone else

$10 Badminton Alberta membership required for anyone that is not a current BA member.
