CONDITIONS: - The competition is open to all athletes who are members in good standing with their provincial or territorial association.  The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada and the Badminton World Federation.
All players must have paid the Badminton Canada Champions Club fee to play. The Champions Club fee can be paid at the time of entry or by going to the following link: http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=96347DF5-F2DD-419C-B661-6773850E026B
The tournament is open to athletes born in 1995 or later (U16), or 1992 or later (U19).

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS – Friday, 9:00 AM – Registration and opening rounds, Saturday, 9:00 AM – Continuation of play.  Sunday 10:00 AM – Finals begin

EVENTS – Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for Under 16 and Under 19.  Consolation will be held for all competitors defeated in their first round match of the main event time permitting.  It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30 minutes of their opening round defeat. 
 
SHUTTLES – The official shuttle will be the Black Knight 6800 feather shuttle.  Shuttles will be provided for all matches.
 
ENTRY FEE - $85.00 includes shuttles.  On line payment is required at the time of on line registration.
 
ENTRY DEADLINE – Badminton Manitoba will be utilizing the Badminton Tournament Planner Software.  You can enter online directly at http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=EEF03DDC-614B-40C8-B358-FC4C72211D32
 
The entry deadline is September 24th at 11:59pm EST. No late entries will be accepted.
 
PRIZES – Medals will be awarded to the winners and finalists of each event.
                 Merchandise for consolation winners.
 
SEEDING – Seeding will be provided by Badminton Canada tournament seeding committee.
 
RULES – The 21- Rally Point scoring format will be utilized.  Three minute warm up and ten minute default will be strictly enforced.  The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play.
