CONDITIONS OF ENTRY/ CONDITIONS DE PARTICIPATION: By completing the online entry form, all competitors are agreeing to allow Badminton Canada the rights to use any photographs and videos taken by designated staff persons at the event to be used for any promotional pieces produced by Badminton Canada, its officers, directors, partners, agents and employees.
All Pictures, Images, Videos and rights therein, including copyright, remain the sole and exclusive property of Badminton Canada. Grant of rights is not limited from the date hereof.
The tournament is open to athletes who are members in good standing of a provincial or territorial badminton association that is affiliated with Badminton Canada. The tournament will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada and the Badminton World Federation. All players must have paid the Badminton Canada Champions Club fee to play. ELIGIBILITY:
As per Badminton Canada regulations; for any Canadian National Championships, all athletes must:
4.1.2 be members in good standing with a provincial member organization and;
4.1.3 be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant,
4.1.4 have main residency in Canada for the 12 months preceding the championship, (this requires a permanent address in Canada but permits a player to train out of Country for limited periods) and;
4.1.5 not have played in any badminton championship restricted to another country within the timeframe;
4.3 waiver forms must be signed at time of registration by a parent or guardian.
ENTRY FEE:

Athletes under the age of 18 years must print off a waiver form and present it at the time of in-person registration.

Online entry and payment must be received by Badminton Canada no later than Friday January 6th, 2012

• Any illegal purchase, possession or consumption of alcohol or restricted drugs will be reported to the police;
• Destruction of public or private property will be reported to the police;
• Badminton Canada’s Discipline Committee and the Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny participation, without appeal to the minor at any time, if it is deemed reasonable that the words or actions of the minor may lead or have led to injury or are viewed as verbal abuse of another participant or official of the event.
