AGE CATEGORIES: U12 - 2001 or later, U14 - 1999 or later, U16 – 1997 or later, and U19 – 1994 or later
ELIGIBILITY: All players must be eligible to compete under Badminton Alberta's Junior A Player Definition. If a player meets the eligibility to become an 'A' player, then they are ineligible to compete in Junior 'B' tournaments.
EVENTS: Singles, Doubles, & Mixed Doubles for all age groups if sufficient entries are received. Consolations for doubles and mixed doubles.
SHUTTLES: Mavis 300 nylon for all age groups.
ENTRY FEE: $50.00 / player for all events. Includes prizes, souvenirs and shuttles.
FORMAT: Round robin groups with winners advancing to a single elimination draw. (Singles only) Scoring system will be best of 3 game matches: 21point rally point system for all events. Coaching will be permitted between games 2 & 3 of a match during the 2 minute break between the second and third games.
LOCATION: U12 – Stettler Middle School Gym; U14 – Stettler Elementary School Gym U16 and U19 events all in the High School gym (use north entrance for registrations)
SCHEDULE OF PLAY: Matches commence at 4:00 pm Friday, Feb. 1 at the earliest depending on the number of entries; Finals on Sat, Feb 2 or Sun. Feb. 3 depending on the number of entries.
