In the Winter 2026, Badminton Alberta offers a number of program choices in the Calgary area for youth aged 7-17 years of age interested in pursuing badminton. Group lessons are available Monday through Friday evenings and Sturday's at numerous school gyms throughout the City of Calgary, Southland and Leisure Centre and Mount Royal University.
Families in need of financial assistance may apply to the following agencies to ease the cost of their child's involvement in sport.
Badminton Alberta provides the instructional component for the Calgary Child & Youth Program operating as "The Badminton Academy". Access to program information can be accessed by following these links:
- Yonex Child lessons (aged 7-11 years of age)
- Yonex Youth lessons (aged 12-17 years of age)
