Badminton Alberta would like to thank Lucy Chen, Jothymius Kung, Nithin Sylesh, John Tan, Nichole Tarry, and Bo Zhang for participating in the 2025 Umpire Training Course. Special thank you to Tournament Referee, Dale Jenkins for running the course and for training new umpires along with Umpire, Atul Hooda, as well as to MODU Club Badminton for hosting the event!
Badminton Alberta would like to offer our gratitude and appreciation for the participants who attended our Umpire Training Course at MODU Club Badminton. Thank you for your time, enthusiasm, committment to learning, and for supporting the growth of our sport in the province. A special thank you to our tournament referee, Dale Jenkins who ran the training course and also trained new umpires during the tournament along with umpire, Atul Hooda, as well as to MODU Club Badminton for hosting the Umpire Training Course.
The tournament took place on October 3-5th 2025, and had 11 umpires present, with 6 new umpires recieving training.
