2025-26 Badminton Alberta Club Membership Information
Badminton Alberta is please to offer three distinct levels of membership categories for clubs:
The cost is $275.00 + $13.75 GST.

Basic Club affiliation caters to recreational clubs and school clubs, with validity for the badminton season from September 1st to August 31st.
Membership benefits comprise:
- General Lability Insurance for basic clubs included: Certificate of insurance provided upon request
- Inclusion of sanctioned tournament dates in the Badminton Alberta calendar of events
- Eligibility to host Zone training clinics/camps

COLLEGE CLUB
The cost is $400.00 plus $20.00 GST.
College affiliation with Badminton Alberta caters to colleges and universities involved in an organized league or conference. This affiliation is active for the badminton season, which runs from September 1 to August 31.
Membership benefits encompass:
- Individual affiliation for the current team roster, which includes players (10), coaches (2), and administrators (1).
- Inclusion of Basic Club affiliation benefits.
- Sport Accident insurance coverage for each qualified team member.

The cost is $650.00 + $32.50 GST.

The Multi-sport & Warehouse Club Affiliation caters to competitive and private sports clubs. This affiliation is active for the badminton season, which runs from September 1 to August 31.
Additional benefits of this membership, beyond those offered by the Basic Club Affiliation, include:
- The chance for the club to be chosen as a host for Alberta Series events, Alberta Junior Circuit events, or provincial championships, contingent on application.
- The opportunity for a club representative to participate in the annual Coaches & Competition committee planning/review meeting.
Major clubs include: Calgary Winter Club, Derrick Golf & Winter Club, Edison Badminton Centre, The Glencoe Club, Red Willow Badminton Club, and Royal Glenora Club.
Warehouse clubs include: B-Active Badminton Club, Centre Avenue Badminton Club, ClearOne Calgary, Drive Sport Badminton, Edison Badminton Centre, Gao Badminton Tao, GX Badminton, Kshatriya Badminton Academy, Modu Badminton Club, Sunridge Badminton Centre and Synergy Indoor Sports Centre..
