The Derrick Club is presently seeking the services of an Assistant Badminton Coach. Responsibilities of this position would include assisting in all phases of our junior and adult competitive and recreation program. Applicants must have a minimum of five years of competitive play with a high level of success, experience coaching all levels, and a strong work ethic. A college or university education would be a valuable asset as well as coaching certification or equivalent experience. Candidates with a second language of Mandarin or Cantonese would be a definite asset. This is a full time position, $22.71 hourly for 40.00 hours per week.

•Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions.
•Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs.
•Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games.
•Develop game plans and direct athletes and players during games
•Analyze and evaluate athletes' or teams' performances
•Observe and evaluate athlete’s skills and performances

Participate in coaching clinic instruction.
