City of Calgary youth program - Spring 2025

Badminton Alberta offers a number of Spring 2025 badminton program choices in the Calgary area for youth aged 7-17 years of age interested in pursuing badminton. Group lessons are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and Saturday at numerous school gyms throughout the City of Calgary.

Families in need of financial assistance may apply to the following agencies to ease the cost of their child's involvement in sport:

• Canadian Tire - Jumpstart

Badminton Academy of Calgary Youth Program 

Badminton Alberta provides weeknight instructional programs throughout the City of Calgary at community schools and recreation centers).  Program information can be accessed by following these links:

Yonex Child lessons (aged 7-11 years of age)

• Mondays at Cedarbrae School (6:15-7:35pm for 9-weeks) $193.50
• Mondays at West Dalhousie School (6:15-7:35 pm for 9-weeks) $193.50
• Wednesday at Hawkwood School (6:15-7;35pm 9-weeks) $193.50
• Fridays at Southland Leisure Centre (4:30-5:30pm for 10-weeks) $215.00

Yonex Youth lessons (aged 12-17 years of age)

• Mondays at Cedarbrae School (7:45-9:05 PM for 9-weeks) $211.50  (GST added at check-out).
• Mondays at West Dalhousie School (7:45 - 9:05 PM for 9-weeks) $211.50 (GST added at check-out).
• Wednesdays Hawkwood School (7:45-9:05pm for 9-weeks) $211.50 (GST aded at check-out). 
• Fridays at Southland Leisure Centre (5:30-7:00pm for 10-weeks) $235.00 (GST added at check-out)

Registrations are available on-line through Badminton Alberta. Registration for programs in the Spring of 2025 will begin February 27th, 2025 at 5:00p.m. Payment: Each registrant will be required to submit payment at the time of registration on our on-line registration.
