Competition Dates: 8 – 9 – 10 January 2010

Prizes: Awarded to event winners, runners up and consolation winners.
Conditions: The tournament is open to athletes born in 1991 or later (u19), 1994 or later (u16), 1996 or later (u14), and 1998 or later (u12). Alberta athletes must be competitive members in good standing with Badminton Alberta. BA membership is required at $34.75 for athletes 14 years & under and $36.50 for all athletes 15 years & older.
Entry Fee: $52.50 for all ctegories. Register On-Line at www.badmintonalberta.ca. Fee includes tournament souvenir, prizes and shuttles. Non-members must obtain their Badminton Alberta ID number prior to registering for the tournament, as this number is required to complete the on-line registration.
Entry Deadline: December 30th. at 4:00 pm. MST.
Clothing: 'Colored' clothing and indoor footwear will be allowed. Protective eyewear is strongly recommended.
Shuttles: Victor champion feather shuttles will be supplied for all matches.
Events: Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Players may enter one singles, one doubles, and one mixed doubles. Single elimination draw type with consolations (time permitting) in all events.
Draw Times: Available Wednesday, January 6th. at 1:00 pm. On court warm up: 3 minutes. Default time: 10 minutes
Scoring: Current BWF Rally Point scoring system will be used. Coaching as per Badminton Alberta Coaching policy.
Schedule: Tournament will begin Friday, January 8th at 5:00pm with u12 singles at Edwards Elementary, and u14 singles at Bert Church High School. Start times are subject to change.
