We currently have two National Coach positions for the National Team and will be looking to increase the number of coaches and transition to additional coaches for the next Olympic cycle. The National Team coaches are responsible for assisting National Team athletes with their training programs, competition programs and will be designated as head coaches for major international events like those listed above and the Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, Commonwealth Youth Games, Youth Olympics and Olympic Games. National Team coaches will also be responsible for monitoring National Team athletes and working with their personal coaches. We are also planning to create a Junior National squad that will require National Coach oversight. The minimum requirements for involvement in the National Coaches program are the same as for the event coaches’ pool.
