Prizes: Awarded to event winners, runners up and consolation winners.
Conditions: The tournament is open to athletes born in 1996 or later (u16), 1998 or later (u14), and 2000 or later (u12). Alberta Athletes must be competitive members in good standing with Badminton Alberta.
Entry Fee: Register On-Line at www.badmintonalberta.ca. Entry fee of $55 for all age categories. Fee includes Badminton Alberta Junior Circuit tournament t-shirt (for those not yet having received), tournament souvenir and shuttles. BA membership is required for all non-members at $38.10 for athletes 14 years or less and $40.00 for all athletes 15 years or older.
Entry Deadline: December 7th. at 11:59 pm. MST
Clothing: WHITE tops are mandatory. Colored warm-ups, shorts and skirts are allowed. Protective eyewear is strongly recommended.
Shuttles: Yonex Mavis 300 for u12 and Yonex Aerosena 50 feather shuttles for u14 & u16.
Events: Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Players may enter one singles, one doubles, and one mixed doubles. Single elimination draw type with consolations (time permitting) in all events.
Draw Times: Available Wednesday, December 14th. at 1:00 pm. On court warm up: 3 minutes. Default time: 10 minutes
Scoring: Current BWF Rally Point scoring system will be used. Coaching as per Badminton Alberta Coaching policy.
Schedule: Tournament will begin Friday, December 16th. at 2:00pm with u12 singles with u14/u16 singles to follow. Schedule subject to change.
